Advantages of Dimensionalization®

Cost Effectiveness

Cost is a main concern in today’s production environment and In-Three is constantly striving for more cost effective solutions with each new project. Through constantly developing techniques and continued software development, In-Three can deliver studio quality work at a competitive per shot cost. Most importantly, we are confident in our ability to size up the cost of any project from every perspective and work with you to achieve both the quality and cost you are looking for.

Consistent Results

In creating or converting to 3D, one of the most important aspects is depth continuity from shot to shot within a sequence. In3gue, In-Three’s proprietary software, allows a director to dial in the depth, keeping consistency between shots. Depth Grading is a process by which depth, shape and perspective are easily manipulated to achieve the director’s vision while keeping continuity throughout a sequence. It is a process that is not held hostage by long render times, so the results are quick and consistent, allowing the director to not only change his mind but explore multiple versions of depth for the same shot.

Artistic Flexibility

Depth Grading is the stage in the Dimensionalization process that provides a director unprecedented control over the stereoscopic image. Each object within a scene is given unique depth, shape, and perspective. These control parameters can be adjusted in real-time and live with the director. This level of control allows the director to adjust the depth of a shot to accommodate the editing pace, the content of the image, or the context of the story. This process allows the efficient flexibility directors need to deliver their vision.

Visual Quality

There are no unwanted stereo discrepancies created by Dimensionalization. That means that the 3D effect will be comfortable to view. This is a major feat since achieving this level of quality with live-action material is extremely difficult with other methods. Our goal is to achieve "perfect 3D"—that is, 3D that achieves a director's vision with no discomforting disparities.
